Why is my mp4 avc, and mp4 videos not playing on my psp.?

Im currently using psp max media manager and

I have a psp 3.90 official firmware,two days ago i converted two movies and one music video to my psp and it worked fine but two days later I converted two more movies but on psp it showed that da videos were corrupted I tried again n again but it just didnt work.

In what folder should i put them???

or what am i doing wrong.

  1. I have psp max media manager as well and I havent had any problems so far. It may be the specific video that you are using is corrupted or that the original format can't be converted using psp mmm.

    The videos are automatically sent to a folder called MP_ROOT but you can make your own folder in the video folder and cut and paste them there. If you do put it in a folder you created, make sure to rename the video or it won't work. Hope that helps.


  2. Your converter may be bad.

    The psp plays mp4's and on occasion other mpeg files.

    With regards to CONVERTING the youtube videos (they're are an "flv" format video, you'll want to convert them to mp4/mpeg-4)  I use Replay Converter to convert to MY psp AND my i-phone and it works flawlessly.
