Why is my package still in portland??

Question

i shipped my package using FedEx ground and it has been in portland for 4 days not..

i understand the Sunday and holiday but shouldn't it be furthur away?

i live in Washington...and its only in Oregon?

Remeber it was a holiday weekend. If it was shipped two day service abut was shipped on Friday you wont get it until thursday. They wont deliver on Sat unless you pay for Sat service and Sun they are closed...go to http://www.fedex.com/

ask us where My package and Never tells us thje tracking number

you must think we have a crystal ball or something!

when did you drop off it off  at  fedex did you do on  Saturday

Sunday? did you use a fedex office or did you use one of the self service drop?

boxes (if you are sending it ground and use one of the fedex drop

boxes ) your package migt get returned to you

I called Fedex about this same type of issue before and they told me that they arent very good with updating information on some packages.  Portland is a main HUB for Fedex and UPS both and many packages will go there before being loaded onto a plane or truck.  If its loaded on to a truck and missed in the scanning process it will appear it is in Portland for several days when in reality it is riding in a trailer going across the country.
