Why is my parents :@?

im 14 and my stepdad treats me like im 4, and my mum is always in a bad mood, and then she throws fits at me for the tiniest things. i am sick of it :@

Perhaps you have a warped impression of how a 14 year old girl should be treated. My little sister used to think we treated her like a baby, when in-fact we were treating her like the 14 year old she was. Her friends were a lot older then and those that were a similar age had parents that quite frankly, did not care about their children. She expected to have the same boundaries and rule enforcements as they had.

take on a few chores be more suportive and obiedent and they might let up. Prove you are mature by being resonable instead of arguing when they say no ask what would make them reconsider

we have the same problem actually and when I asked my aunt about it..I realized that since I am an only child my dad does that because of course he will miss hugging me and touching me<no malice> when I become more mature..and about my mum too...she is just having hang ups..because maybe she has problems which she couldn't tell you about..and if you are really bothered just talk to someone who could give you the best answer..or talk to them directly or just for now..understand what they arer going through

You needto point out to them that just because they may be having problems, it is unfair to take ot oout on you

It would appear they are having some sort of problems , You need to point  this out to your mum , tell her she should not be taking her anger out on you..but do it in a nice way...find a time when she is calm and everything is relaxed.
