Question:

Why is my pc so loud?

Purchased a new computer, and this thing is extremely loud. Tolerable, but annoying nonetheless. I don't think it's my power supply, I am assuming it's the motherboard. There is no dust, considering I have had this pc for about two days now. I purchased one pc from a store, and it's very very very quiet, I sometimes forget it's on, but I have to return it cause the computer sucks, this one is just the opposite. Is there anyway to lower the noise?

  1. I guess the most of the noise is coming from the CPU cooler.  Most are shipped with either an Intel or AMD cooler.  These fans tend to be rather loud.  You could replace this fan with a quiet one.  Look on some of the online computer parts supply stores and you'll see what I mean.

  2. The computers are loud for one of the following reasons:

It is possible that one of your fans hit accidentally a wire.

It can also be the power supply.

    The case quality matters.

It is your graphic's card fan.
