Why is my period late?! I'm still a virgin...?

I'm 15 years old ...and I'm really worried, my period is about 2 weeks late. I was supposed to get it on the 8th. Why is my period late.. I don't have a boyfriend, and I did not have s*x, so I don't think that i can be pregnant... Please help, i'm really stressed out...

Well, i don't exactly have the answr for you, but you're young, so why not ask your mom. and if you're sure thatyou're still a virgin, then she will believe you.

just try asking her. she might have the answer!

If you have had your period for a year and a half or less, this can be normal.  After the first period, it takes between a year and a year and a half for cycles to become regulated.  During this time it is quite normal to experience period abnormalities.  If you have had your period longer than that and it has been regular for quite a while now, then this is not normal.  In this case this can be due to many things including stress, weight gain/loss, or hormonal imbalance.  In this case you should see your doctor to determine the exact cause.  If a hormonal imbalance is suspected, a simple blood test will show this.

well if you know that your a virgin i'd stop stressing about it,  plus stress can cause it to be later so just don't worry to much about it and it should come.  if you feel REALLY worried that it might be something ese talk to your mom or your doctor.

This is normal. :)

Don't worry about it, it may be late because of stress or some other kind of factor. It happens with a lot of women. When I was 13 I didn't have my period for 3 months!

You're 15, so you shouldn't worry.  It's normal for teenagers to have irregular periods.  Stress, weight gain or weight loss can also delay your period.  It's nothing to worry about.  If you don't get your period for 3 months or so, you should go see a doctor.
