Why is my pool full of bee's and flies, soon after the earthquake in orange county?

i live in Anaheim, and my pool was filled with bee's and flies soon after the 5.4 earthquake?

I live in Los Angeles too, and I'm guessing that the quake affected some thing to do with the insects. I really don't know why, now I'm curious.

Don't know why but after the earthquake a bunch of flies started showing up at my house it seems like everytime I kill some more show up.
