Why is my rokr E8 slow?

i juss bought the phone, rokr E8, how come it is slow? anyone have this phone with the similar situation? For example i search through my phonebook n there are about 2 sec delay whenever i click next to find the following #.

maybe your phone memory is full. or maybe you need to give it a good charge.

It's generally slow, if you try to click everything fast. I tried one at the store, and it had a lag when I tried to browse through menus quickly.
