Why is my room always hotter/colder than the rest of the house?

What kind of things would cause my room to be colder than the rest of the house, or warmer than the rest of my house?

Even when all the windows are closed in the entire house?

I don't get why my room is different. It's very annoying.

  1. If its always been like that and you have central air your going to have to close atleast one vent in your house so that more air can get to your room. Its weird, my room gets very cold during the summer and super hot when the ac isn't on. I believe it has something to do with the air traveling upstairs especially if you have a large room, well larger than the average bedroom. Close at least one vent and see what happens.

  2. keep the door open all day, i have the same problem its always freezing or boiling when i open the door so i leave the door open all day.

  3. thats the same with MY room too.

in my house, we have two heat/ac's one on my side of the house and one in the living, kitchen, and parents room. so half the time, its on there, it doesnt travel into my room. -____-

i guess the heat/ air disappears. and does your room have like different features like carpeting and wood?

is your room in a different part of the house??

  4. i think you might have a ventulation prob or your rom might be in a place that the (hot or cold air) cant get in.
