If you are running Internet Explorer and your searches are not being saved it's probably because Auto Complete has been turned off. To turn this back on click on Tools , Internet Options, Content, then Auto Complete. If the Forms, Web Addresses, and User Names and Passwords on Forms options are not checked then Auto Complete has been turned off. Just check the options and click OK at the bottom to turn it back on.

Open inet options in the control panel. Set the days to save history to 5 or 7.

Your pages that are recored are probaly set to 0. Go to tools, internet options, then click on where it says web history and make it 20days. This way all your stuff will be saved.
