He doesn't seem to be in any distress, but his ears are waxy, anyone got any suggestions to why, could it be just his teeth bothering him?

  1. I think you should consider that he may not be hearing very well and is doing this out of frustration.

  2. doesnt want too listen to you

  3. at two weeks he doesnt even know he has ears

  4. my Nephew keeps doing that when he wants or is not happy with something, we don't know why or where he has got it from, very strange !

  5. Try taking him to the Doctor to get the wax removed from his ears.  It is, these days a simple procedure using ear drops, they do not syringe the ears out with water the way they used to.  Given that his ears are waxy I would doubt that it is his teeth that are bothering him, cutting teeth is usually a pain-full or at least sore process, causing the subsequent incessant crying.

  6. If its a new thing he is doing, I would say he has an ear infection that is hurting him. It could also be teething as tooth aches sometimes radiate up to your ears. Take him to the doc. If he has alot of ear drainage plus he is showing signs that they are hurting he probably has an infection.

  7. what age is he

  8. Ear infection.

    See pediatrician today.

  9. its a ear infection. theres a lot of pressure and he can't hear every well. don't freak out, but if you don't treat them it can lead to hearing loss.

  10. You didn't say how old he is but assuming you can't ask what is wrong...I would say that it could be teeth, but probably more likely if his molars are coming in as opposed to his front teeth.  You said his ears are waxy...have you tried cleaning his ears?  Maybe the amount of wax is causing some difference in his hearing and that is why he is hitting them.  Try cleaning his ears and see if he stops.  Or if you clean his ears and it seems to bother him, maybe he has an ear infection.

  11. He could have an ear infection. Are they red? or they could be bothering him cuz they have alot of ear wax and need to be cleaned out. Maybe you should phone your doctor if your really worried.

  12. He probably has an ear infection, or it just hurts. You should take him to see his doctor soon. I used to take care of my little brother when he was a toddler and he had the same problem, then we found out he had an ear infection. Don't worry, the sooner you see his doctor, the better. Hope this helps.
