Why is my step dad's business partner?

mean to me and call me names behind my back and smiles in front of everybody i know (he is twisted.) i am nothing but nice and he does this. what do I do? how to deal?

I can't imagine why this partner would be a part of your daily life... but I wouldn't even think twice about it again. I mean, does it really matter what he thinks? As long as you remain polite and courteous at any work functions you may have to attend - WHO CARES? Don't let him bother you.. just act like he's not even there, or bothering you in the least. All that matters is what you feel and think of yourself. For some reason - some people will just never like us, reasons or no reasons. It's just life.
