Why is my stick shift not loud?

I have a 91 honda accord stick shift i just got a couple days ago(first car) i was wondering why its not loud(like a stick shift car should be)when i drive it? its like completely silent and i would like to know how i can make my car sound like a stick shift should sound like. thanks

  2. its an accord not a perfomance car thats why its not loud..

  3. You sound like you want a set of low restriction mufflers.  You want to hear the engine roar and sound powerful.  You may have purchased another type of car if that is what you wanted.

  4. It shouldn't be loud. What are you talking about. Shifting should be smooth and silent. No clunking or knocking sounds(s) when selecting gears...
