Why is my teacher doing this!?

exams start friday. my spanish (whom i love)threw some project at us today, at the last minute! wtf? we have to write a story about some made up creature! i mean i know how to do it, i just don't have time. i have to work on my english project that is due thursday. i also need to spend more time working on geometry (my exam in geometry is friday) cuz im failing that class, even though i get extra help from my teacher all the time and try really hard. if im doing a spanish project i can't focus on geometry! ugh....i've had 5 projects due this month and three of them are due this week. why didn't she tells us this earlier?

Can you explain all of this to your teacher?  Sometimes teachers forget  that you have five other classes and projects in all of them-especially at the end of the semester.  Maybe she will shorten the assignment or extend the deadline-especially if other students in your class are in the same boat.  It's worth a try.

She might be adding the project as extra points on your grade, also if you have all these things to do you should be studying not asking questions on the computer (jk) I just went through finals myself

Oftentimes, teachers are told by those 'higher up' that they need another grade for the gradebooks before the quarter is up.  Believe me, it's not picnic for your teacher to have to grade all those projects at the tail end of school either.  Kids aren't the only ones ready to be finished.  Just do your best to get it done...teachers get told what to do all the time, too, ya know.

Welcome to the real world...the real world sucks! You will no longer have recess, you will no longer have nap time, you will no longer be spoon fed. You will however have an endless amount of responsibility, mindless and meaningless projects to do, places you have to be, and people you must make happy! =)
