  1. mabe it is on the wrong dials

  2. Your needle is dull, so change that first. Then remove the bobbin, and check for any dust, or threads caught in the bobbin case and around the bobbin case. Re thread the top thread. Now you must hold onto both of the threads, top and bottom to start the stitching each and every time. If you do not it will bunch up every time. If this doesn't solve the problem then the tension on the bobbin case needs to be tightened...that tiny little s***w needs to be slightly and very slightly tightened. (Be careful on this as if you unscrew it and it falls out it is a pain to get back in....(Been there done that)Then test it out on a scrap piece of fabric, as if you were sewing up a seam. Tighten again if necessary until the bobbin thread looks correct.

  3. When the thread bunches up on the bottom of the fabric, it means the problem is on top. Remove the top thread from the machine, and try rethreading it, making sure you're threading the machine correctly. Also make sure you're lowering the presser foot when you're sewing, because there is no upper tension when the foot is up.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Your bobbin thread may have gotten threaded backwards or your tension adjuster needs to be fixed. My mom's did the same thing and she had to keep adjusting the tension tighter and tighter till finally she had to have it repaired. It was the tensioner. You might also have some thread caught up inside the bobbin casing. Sometimes it will cause it to tighten one side and holding the other thread out of whack and loose. Try cleaning it out and see if that helps for now. Maybe it will help put off the repairman thing for a while.

  5. Sounds like your tenson is messed up, which can happen with a lot of use, or lint that gets up in the gears, try doing a good cleaning, if that doesn't work, then try to adjust your tenson, if that doesn't work, you will need to take it into a shop.

I would think if you have been sewing for any time at all you would know how to wind your bobbin proper and how to thread your machine [either of those two could also cause a problem]

  6. Try rethreading your bobbin and start from there. good luck

  7. Adjust the thread tension. Loops on the back mean it is too loose, bunching on the front & it is too high.
