Why is my wii making noise?

when i put in a disk, it makes this noise like "whirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..." it did'nt do that at first, then it was doing it a couple times, now it's doing it every time there's a disk in.

Hmm, I'm not sure, maybe you got something crammed in it? Like Mine, but my Wii's noise is worse x_X Or its probably that you have a disc in it, and I think that is probably how a Wii starts up or w/e

unfortunatly your wii is broken b/c mine did the SAME exact thing...Soon its gonna start giving you an error reading disk message during gameplay. Its a lense error so your gonna have to send it into nintendo! Just call 1800-255-3700 and they can help you there! My wii is currently being worked on now and i hope i get it back soon! Hope i could help!

what do you exactly mean, is it just when you insert the disk, or does it also do that when it reads the disk. I could help you more if you said that in added details
