  1. I have the answer!  You need to do a MAC address clone.  Find the misbehaving computer.

    Click Start

    Click Run (skip in Vista)

    Type the command below:

    cmd

    Press enter

    Type the command below:

    ipconfig /all

    Press enter

Your physical address is your MAC address.  You need to clone this in your router.

  2. I've run into this when users have a wireless (cordless) phone 900MHZ or higher close to the wireless router  Especially if it is the base station it causes interference.  Try moving the phone if it is there.

    Secondly,

Try changing the channel on which your wireless router is on. COuld be overlap with other routers nearby in your neighborhood. See if that helps.

  3. ????????

  4. Try connecting to your modem directly.  It it goes any faster than it is your router.  Try buying a new one.  The only one I would suggest is a netgear.

  5. Try it with another computer or wireless device to determine if it's your router or your computer.

    Things do wear out.

  6. honestly, i would call linksys customer support, their really good, and fast. also try unplugging both the router and the gateway for about 20 seconds and plus them back in.
