Why is my wireless turn on then off and on again?

So, I'm so tired with my wireless right now. Every time I want to download music album from the net, the wireless went off even though the light is still on on the modem and my dad's computer still has the connection. What's the problem anyway? I already deleted all my files from my computer and all that. Oh, I'm using Linksys and desktop..

I was having this problem last week.  You may need to update the firmware on your router.  Linksys has a firmware file that you can download and it should fix your problem with the router turning off and on.

Linksys sucks terribly when it comes to long time usage. I recommend a new router.
