Why is my xbox 360 dying?

When I try to turn on my 360 3/4 of the red ring of death appear. Now I have called tech. support and they said the only thing to do is to send it in. Does any else know what to do?

the only way to fix it is to send it in. they will either fix the problem or replace it with a new one. they replaced mine when that happened to me.
