Why is my zoo tycoon 2 extinct aniamls running so slow?

is it because i have dowloaded marine animals also?it runs very slow and is not fun when acting like this.my marine mania was fine until i downloaded the extinct animals expansion pack?

  1. yes it is......the same thing happened to mines,it was runnning really slow so i had to delete marine animals...
