Why is nba 2k9 better than nba live 09 ?

better signature styles, looks amazingly real, and a deep franchise mode along with better graphics and smoother animations. but live 09 does have that synergy sports thing with the players tendencies in real life updated daily. 2k misses waaaaaay to many layups. live 09 camera angle will have you putting a lot of shots behind the backboard. both are the same in price i think.

well niether of them have come out yet but,2k8 has crappy graphics but has better gameplay,and nba live has amazin graphics but ok gameplay.

so it depends on wat u like better graphics or gameplay.

but both are solid games

They haven't even come out yet, have they. Anyway, I stopped playing Live in 07, because the gameplay was absolutely terrible. Players were constantly stepping out of bounds and missing dunks left and right. The players were so robotic. It was so awkward to just shoot the ball.

2k does a great job with signiture shots, and has a lot more to offer with the NBA Blacktop and such.
