  1. Yea poor little attention w***e has gone by the wayside.

I guess that happens when you're not qualified to be President and parrot the same old c**p.

  2. I have to hand it to him, he gave a good speech, but it echoed the same old speeches from the past in the Democratic party.

He doesn't want reform, he wants us to sacrifice.  He doesn't want people to have to work hard as his parents did.  I cannot help but wonder, what is wrong with working hard to get to where you want to be.

There's really nothing new to talk about.  The stories are older, and more tired than Obama must be after campaigning longer than he was a senator.

  3. Because his speach was Palin comparison to McCans pick

[Sorry ---had to go for it ]

  4. Because McCain appointed Miss Unqualified as his vp choice and we're all in sho ck

  5. Everywhere I go peope are talking about it. 38 million tuned in to see that speech and I am getting ready to watch it again and he is gracing the frontpage of newspapers.

  6. Because McCain's message of change today hit home more than Obama's did last night.

  7. Because it was just another big mess of liberal lies with promises he knows he can't keep and threats against the workers of America. Everything Obama says he will "give" us will be paid for by us, not him. What he really will do is take the money we worked to earn and give some of it back to some of us and the rest will go to the army of bureaucrats he will hire to ration our money back to us. The liberal media does not want to report what Obama said because people will figure out that Obama wants to steal our money.

  8. We're talking.  Republicans just develop sudden hearing problems when progressives speak.

  9. Ha Ha

    They're SPEACHLESS, thank God!

I hope she does ALL of McCain's speaches when he becomes President, she's eye candy for sure. Even if Osama picked Hitlery for his veep, they'd have no chance!

  10. People like circuses and McCain has created a circus with his ridiculous VP pick.

38 million people watched Obama's speech last night and almost everyone who watched it was suitably impressed.  The impact of that speech will not go away just because the McCain sideshow pulls this stunt.  After the initial surprise wears off, people will go back to contrasting the real candidates (McCain and Obama) and clips of Obama's speech calling out McCain will be replayed.

  11. not much to talk about he just repeated the same things he has been saying...I was one of the 38 million that tuned in to see that speech...

its funny that so many Obama supporters keep telling us how many people watched the speech... do they not realize that conservatives are smart enough to know if our opponent might tell us what his next move is we will be listening very close...its just silly to think that only Obama supporters would watch his speech...

    always nosnod

  12. Because it's general knowledge that it was great, and it was discussed on here already.

  13. Every liberal media source is gushing about it. Visit Newsweek's home page. There are six pictures of Barry O on one page! It's rediculous.

  14. Obama made a speech last night? Oh c**p, I watched that, but I thought it was just a montage of all his other rantings.

  15. Sen. Obama talked about it enough last night.

  16. I have been talking about it a lot. It was spectacular! It moved me to tears.

  17. That speech was JFK speech and plagiarism does not go over well the man that wrote that speech for JFK is thinking of suing Obama!!

  18. Because McCain strategically announced his VP choice the day after Obama's speech.

But if you want to talk about it - Obama is a very gifted speaker. It was a brilliantly delivered speech. BUT - I was disappointed with the content. When you look at what he said, it was the exact same stuff democrats have been preaching for decades. He repeated the same agenda that Kerry talked about in 2004, that Al Gore talked about in 2000. The message is that we can solve anything, even problems that aren't even problems, if we just throw enough money at it. Oh, and by the way, someone has to pay for it but if you vote for me it won't be you.

  19. Because Sarah Palin is the woman of the hour.  Her speech today was far better and more substantive.

    McCain/Palin '08!!!!!!

  20. I did not hear his speech, had better things to do.and why would I mess up a great day by  listening to him and his hog wash. Plus the news I got this morning About McCain picking Sarah Biden, as his V.P made me have two goods days in a row.

  21. It was the same ol same ol.  Old hat!!  just 160 promises that he could not achieve if he was President for life.

Catch up with the new road.  Sarah Palin is McCain's V.P.

She is going to be great!!

    McCain/Palin 08

  22. People are talking about it everywhere.

  23. Because the speech and the setting did more to hurt Obama than help him.  The fact that he used one of Britney Spears' stage designs kind of proves the point of a McCain ad that Obama is more pop star than politician.  Add to that the fact that nearly half the speech was the same opponent bashing that Dems have been unsuccessfully using the last couple of elections in spite of Obama being the "choice for change".

  24. What speech, and who is Obama? There's a woman who is going to be Vice-President. Her name is Sarah Palin. I am thinking about her, and I am excited!

  25. He did a good job of delivering a speech that was written for him-----it made lots of promises nobody can believe in----he has lost any credibility he may have once had------he promises change but brought a life-long career politician to the ticket while today John McCain brought us change we can believe in-----Sarah Palin breathes fresh life into the G.O.P. and we are real proud to have this fine lady.

This is a bright day for women---a bright day for America.

  26. It was ok.  But it couldn't even cover a 24hr news cycle.  He spoke alot, didn't say much.  Emotional misfits were moved, rational thinkers kept waiting for the beef.  It was a vegetarian burrito.......

Did you catch Oprahs response, what a tool.....

  27. Because the American media has trouble focusing on more than one story at a time.

Which is bad news for the Republicans next week since a hurricane's acommin'

  28. Same old, same old. Obama's going down.

    John McCain, Sarah Palin, 2008!

    The Winning Team!

    Vote Smart!

    Consider Your Children and Grand-Children;

Their Future Is In Our Voting Hands!

United We Stand, Divided We Fall!

  29. Because McCain now has a female running mate and that is much bigger news.  Many Hillary supporters are angry at Obama and the male establishment in the Democratic Party because they believe it's a 'Men's Only' club.  Can you imagine how Hillary feels now?  She might rejoin the Republican Party.

  30. Because it was the same old boring Obama socialist BS! Change, change, change but never a strategic plan.

  31. Because it was all empty happy talk that has no substance or meaning.

For example, look at the abortion debate.  One side calls itself Pro-Life and one side calls itself Pro-Choice.  The selection of those names is quite political.

Who would claim they are Anti-Choice or Anti-Life. No one.  And that is why those terms were chosen.  Until you get into the meat of the issue, the fine details, such glossy titles are meaningless.

Similarly, Obama's speech is filled with generic happy-talk but devoid of details allowing people to truely judge what he intends to do.
