Why is no other candidate willing to speak on this important issue?

I have heard a lot of talk about war, economy, gas,and even the environment. However, no one talks about Global Populating. That is right, I am talking about too many people having too many kids. Soon, the planet will be overrun by little eating and pooping monsters. This must be stopped now. We need to conserve what we have now by preventing the next generation from abusing it in the future.The answer is simple. STOP HAVING CHILDREN NOW! The population rate is growing and continues to rise(I am talking about you Spears family). More for us now means less for them later. Thank you for your time.

Well dude, because we're not China.  We're not gonna tell people that they need to stop having kids.  You are correct in that our population is growing exponentially and that it will be a drain on resources, but we can't just say STOP HAVING CHILDREN NOW!  I agree this issue should be examined and taken seriously, but there are much bigger fish to fry at the moment.  Meaning there are more issues that require an immediate response.

Well if John McCain chooses Mitt Romney as his running mate, then they will probably talk about how having at least 10 children is a good thing (seeing as how he's Mormon).

It's difficult for either side to speak of it.  The current Republican administration has cut funding to birth control efforts overseas because they also use abortion.  This means that these organizations cannot give out birth control pills or condoms, because the administration believes in abstinence.  The Democrats at least would fund them again, but for too many people, population control is the same as the Chinese one child law, which forces abortion on many women every year.  And Democrats know that they can say nothing about abortion without risking the ire of the religious right.

And Dart Swinger, the current population of China is over 1.3 billion.  The population of Texas is 20 million.  While we might have the land area to put six times our current population somewhere, a lot of that would be in the desert western area, which the Chinese probably wouldn't like very much.

I think that it wouldn't be as big of an issue if governments would be more efficient at dealing with all those other things you mention. Simply coming up with better solutions for fossil fuel burning modes of transportation alone would make it much less of a factor.
