Question:

Why is one of my Canarie's nails black?

I was cutting his nails last night and I noticed that the back nail on his left leg was totally black! It didn't seam to be bothering him at all. I cut it just a little bit in fear of cutting the blood vessle, because I couldn't even see it. All of his other nails are a white color.

Why is his nail black?

  1. It sounds like it's just bruised. Your Canary may have hurt himself. It may or may not go away. Just watch him to make sure he's not favoring that 1 foot.

  2. i tihnk its blood did your birds fight
