Why is one of my guppy side fins paralyzed ?

Question

Some of my guppies have one side of their side fins ( pelvic fins) paralyzed ,

why is that ? And what kind of disease is it?

And how do i cure it ?

hello i am a Marine Boilogist, guppy fish very often get this problem for a couple of reasons

1) the tank water is not pureifyed so do a 20% water change

2) if its a female, it could be pregnant and most of its fry are on 1 side of it.

dont worry i have seen mannnnny cases of this and it will go away in about a week or so. hope this helps =]
