Why is one of my hamsters eyes red and the other blue?

its wierd his eye is only red at night im confused and give me somthing simple im only ten. oh and if it helps he is an albino

Don't worry..that is very much normal, and you are lucky to have a hamster like that.

It's all genetics, and hamsters, like dog and cats can also have different colored eyes...they are rare though.

No need to worry...now you can show off your hamster in pet contests! lol

it could be that its blind in 1 eye go c someone just to be on the safe side i would just incase because if u have a leveld cage then it can be quite dangerous

Well I'd say that is normal. You know they're not ternal and that just must help him see.

it prob is normal and i would think it is if he is a albino you could reseach it on the internet or you could ask your vet hope this helped!!!!!!!!! =)

I think it's normal, my friend has a hamster with blue and red eyes and it's happy.  It doesn't have any problems seeing, or anything. (Just out of intrest, she has about 7 or 8 hamsters. 2 breed often!)
