The koi that does not eat normally does eat a lot. It has not eaten in two weeks. Whenever I think its about to eat, it spits out the food. Physically, the koi looks fine. The rest of the kois eat normally.

My pond is about 1200 gallon. The water conditions are good, there are small pebbles in the pond, theres also some algae and muck in there.

Also this occured right about the time when I switched to a new brand of koi food (Aqua Master to Ogata), but I do not think that can be the problem because kois eat pretty much everything. Plus the other kois are eating the new food like theres no tomorrow.

  1. Find your local pond club or koi club and I would ask them. It might be an infection of some kind. Probably parasitic.

  2. One possible is that koi eats lots of algae,  catch that koi and observe any sign of disease.
