I work for a verizon wireless agent. we're not corporate. We're doubling our usual numbers? could it be economic stimulus? I've asked customers, and they just give me a random and unexplainable answers. So I'm not sure. Half have said the economy dollars. Overflow from corporate.....?

and if it is that cold of an answer, how do i capitalize on these fluke customers?

  1. Verizon has increased its customer base dramatically over the past two and a half years.

Verizon Communications, which, with a market capitalization of $102 billion, is the second-largest US telecoms company, and the fifth-largest in the world.

Verizon's revenue rose 5.8 per cent on a pro forma basis in 2007.

Verizon has just pulled off a $28.1 billion dollar deal that will catapult Verizon Wireless into the top spot in the US mobile market.

By buying Alltel, the fifth- largest US wireless company, Verizon Wireless will leapfrog AT&T to become the leading mobile operator with 80 million customers (up from 54.8 million only two years ago).

Verizon Wireless has the most reliable coast-to-coast wireless network -- key in attracting new customers and earning loyalty among existing customers -- and an industry-leading lineup of devices for business and consumers. The company consistently has had the highest loyalty level in the industry, as measured by the rate of customer churn.

People love to go to the most popular and, at this time, Verizon seems to be holding that position, therefore, all Verizon wireless agents are enjoying the benefits of what corporate has sown!
