Why is our government letting the U.S.A. turn into a 2nd world country?

The catastrophic damage that occurred during Hurricane Katrina was the flaming example of this, and the same thing is happening with Hurricane Gustav. Nature isn't done with that area yet, but we're supposed to have agencies and government help available to handle these kind of catastrophes. Health care is not available unless you have the money to pay for it, etc... Investigation and action regarding the 911 was pathetically slow and non-thorough. It does raise suspicions.

Here are the facts:

The federal government wasn't created to produce relief efforts. That's the state's job.

Our economy is based upon the principles of capitalism. Health care is a service you must purchase. All examples of state-run health care have failed miserably (Britain, Canada, France, Sweden, Russia, China). Health care is not a right.

9/11 happened because a bunch of terrorists flew a plane into an office building. Does it take a rocket scientist to figure out that a plane flying into a building might cause it to fall over?

Now, get off your high horse, go get a job, and get into the game.

Or retreat back down into your mother's basement and keep working on that tinfoil hat.

1. Rich people don't care about poor people - especially in the US selfish climb on your neighbors back capitalist system.

2. Rich people own and run almost everything including the US and the rest of the World.

3. Multinational Corporations mean that rich people have no loyalty to any country including the US.

4. Your government is not your government - it is the rich people's government.

If you want something you're going to have to get out there and fight for it and you're going to need lots of people to help you.
