  1. not hungry or getting ready to shed

  2. ball pythons are known for being finicky eaters. one of mine has gone a month and a half but my friends has gone 5 months! try switching from live to frozen/thawed or vise versa. make sure you are feeding him the right size of food, it should be as big as the biggest part of your snakes body. if nothing worls, take him to a herp vet. they might have to force feed him.

  3. ok its either shedding or not hungry all snakes can go for weeks without food but just a few days without water so just filling its bowl with water it will be fine

  4. it could be waiting to eat a big meal. like humans.

  5. 4 weeks is a little long but I know that sometimes before they shed they don't eat. I would go ahead and either call a vet or take the poor guy in.

  6. It could be the temperature in the cage is too low or the humidity is too low. That will affect their eating.

  7. It may have a bad stomach ache. Take it to a vet to get it checked out. Also make sure that it does not have anything in its cage that it might have eaten. Perhaps preparing its food differently would also help a bit. Hope he eats again!!!

    Good luck!
