It seems as though recycling plasic, glass and metals has become ubiquitous (at least in my area of the Northeast). Why is it that paper recycling from home is still made so tedious? I don't get why all kinds of paper can't just be thrown in a paper bag and left with the other recycling material. Why does it need to be neatly bundled and twined, everything broken down? Don't they have machines for this type of stuff yet? Thanks!
