Why is pathological waste a problem in our environment?

  1. Many pathogens tend not to deteriorate completely without state of the art filtering mechanisms and thus reenter the environment through the water supply. This process may pollute our rivers and streams with fish killing chemical byproducts or create dead zones in the ocean water located close to river outlets.


  2. I personally think it's a ripple effect from the cold war. people were so poor... then, now that people have money who experienced the "Depression" feel that their sign of wealth is their ability to waste and in turn pass the idea on to their offspring by their actions. It's like splurging after you've been out of money waiting for your next paycheck (BUT it's in a bad way).
