Why is poison ivy getting stronger with more carbon dioxide and pollution the air?

  1. maybe because they take in carbon dioxide to make their own food thru a process called photosynthesis.  It is ussed in the second part of the process called the calvin cycle.  the CO2 molecules are rearranged into a G3P which can make glucose.


  2. Why do you think it is getting stronger? Have you done any controlled studies or lab tests? I cannot find any increased potency in poison ivy.
