Why is"Shree" used with Names of GODDESSES even they are feminine,why can't "Smt."/ "Kumari"be used for them?

As Shree Durgaji,Shree Lakshami Ji etc.written instead of

"Smt.Durgajee" ,"Smt.Lakshamiji" is used with the names of Goddesses.

  1. I think that "Shrimati","Kumari","Sushree" are used for females

    of human-beimg with societal relations like:

    "Shrimati" is prefixed with ladies who are married.

    "Kumari"   is prefixed with unmarried girlsor women.

    "Sushree" is used for both  married and unmarried women.

    "Shree" is prefixed to all most respected superbeing such

    as GOD and GODDESSES,it doesn't matter with the

    genders.




  2.    The word"SHREE" is the most

        honoured  word for all,not confined

       to gender.Since,both GODS  and

       GODDESSES are equally respected  

       hence ,the Word "SHREE" is rightly

       put for both of these respected

      categories."Smt." is used for human

        ladies ,who are married." Kumari"is

       used for virgin girls.New To be brides

       are  put with"  SAUBHAGYANKSHINI"

       or "  SAU.KAN." in Wedding invitation

        Cards.

  3. "Shree" is not confined to genders for GOD or GODDESS .It is

      pre-fixed to most respectable super-power persons.

  4. Shree is a Sanskrit  word meaning wealth, majesty, dignity, high position and the like.Use of Shree as an equivalent of Mr is a recent thing. Properly speaking, Shree here is short for Shreemaan.

    In other words you can say it a word of honour jus like 'Aap' or 'Tum'.
