Why is "Top ten answerers" in certain sections "rigged"?

I know I have asked this before but with 56 BEST ANSWERS in Aussie Rules why am I not listed above those with forty something or even thirty something best answers?

I have seen this list become updated several times since I posted this question the first time and I have never had a mention. Now I am just plain d**n annoyed that there is no credit where credits due! Ordinarily I dont give a stuff about things like this but when I see people on the list who have achieved less than I have, I think that its grosely unfair and I wonder how many other people are being cheated!

It like never gets updated (which i have seen).

I'm in the same boat, have 41 best answers in the aussie rules section still i should be 8th going by the leader board, although every one else on that leader board would have also got more best answers since that board was last updated.

Top Ten answerers? I've never heard of it. How do you view the list?

I'm not sure how the Top Contributors and Leaderboard works, because as you have said, many who are worthy of a position on the leaderboard are not featured.

I can tell you that the number of best answers featured next to some of the users has not been updated, I certainly have more that 48 best answers in this section!

I hope you receive a spot in the leaderboard, you are a great contributor to the section :)

The number next to my name, 100 answers has been there for at least a month, maybe 5 or 6 weeks. It has not been updated in ages.

If you have 56 best in footy, whenever it gets updated, I would hope you are given your due.

Have you ever gone through the best answers for Aussie Rules, its a joke all the top contributers just give each other 'Best Answer' even when the answer's are dull or uninformative.

Louise, I have no idea how they work out the Top Ten Answerers - most of the regulars should be up there but they arent...,so dodgy!

For the record, (you can check my BA's on my profile) - I do NOT scheme with others to give BA's.  I simply chose the best answer regardless of who it is.  Thats the right way to do things, but I too have noticed other certain regulars giving the same select few BA's.

Its only a list...dont stress - its not that great being on the top of the list trust me.  I was last year and i was just exposed to more abuse than normal..lol
