  1. it's not a "in" thing, and it's not stupid

just people start to care about environment and want good things for mother nature and ourselves, donest mean it's stupid

  2. im glad you said something.

ur right now since one person said it. it has to be the new trend!!!

just like skulls very few people had skulls and thought it was cool and now they even sell them al wal-mart!!!

Same thing goes for the peace sign....once some famouse person wore it ...its the NEW thing

    i hate that

    Be yourself!!

defintion of yourself: being who you are and not being someone else because other people do it!!!!!

  3. Because it has taken over within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) community.  This has been pushed by applying Leed credits to products.  If a building has the appropriate level of Leed credits it can meet environment standard levels of Certified, Silver, Gold or Platinum.  This has started a revolution of talking about building green and building smart which has branched off into everyday part of life.  You can learn more about "building green" at the link listed as my source.

  4. Well at least it's happening now even if it's a fad.

  5. It is considered the "in" thing now beacause it is time now. Otherwise the longterm consequences will be huge. We need to go green to stop global warming. If not over the years, half of Florida will disappear! Same with the Netherlands. The glaciers will be gone and storms such as hurricanes will be much more frequent. We need to go green to stop this.

If you dont believe me, look at the facts. Watch an Inconvinient Truth. Look at the data.

  6. I applaud Ryan's answer.

No one could have answered better.

  7. People love to be better, smarter, more popular and all that.  Going green is popular because it is perceived as "caring".  Sadly, many "green" initiatives are so poorly conceived and many create more polution than they eliminate or have other consequences far worse than the evil they are trying to cure.  Please remember that in the 70's the big issue was the plant cooling down into an Ice Age.  So believe what you want, just do some research first so at least you why you stand where you do.

  8. because people are too lazy to actually do something that will really help and so to avoid feeling guilty they do something easy like recycle

  9. This way the government(Senate) can create an industry and give all kinds of FAT contracts to their friends and family.  It's along the same lines as the Global Warming BS that Al Gore has been making millions from.

  10. It's not a fad you r****d...that's great you've been recycling cans for so long, but really we can't keep up the way were living now, with rising energy demands and less supply, somethings got to give...and it's either us or the earth...so really it's either ecological fall-out or saving the planet...I'm 14 and I don't want to live on a planet with billions of other people suffering the consiquences of your generations stupidity! People need to wake up and realize these fossil fuels arn't going to be here in our lifetimes...and the earths population reaching 7 billion soon, we're in big trouble...no matter what we do now we have to face the consiquences...there is no sign of stoping either...it's not a pretty picture... =(

  11. well at least people are doing something.
