Why is "growth" so important for a company?

Growth is important to a company for many reasons more sales equals more turnover this then means more profit. Then they can employ more people to help the company grow bigger get more customers and it gos on and on. Everybody who starts a companys wants growth each year or there would be no point in the buisness.

Because no company ever stays the same size.

It either shrinks or grows.

If it grows, it survives, if it shrinks, it dies.
