Why is race such an issue?

Why is race an issue in American society today? Do you think we'll ever come to a point where everyone regardless of native heritage will solely identify as being American?

no. it is human nature to observe and associate differences

Because America was created as a result of genocide.

This genocide was carried out on the natives.

No. Race is great. We are actually a salad bowl. Not a melting pot. We like to see all of the different races in America.

race is a big issue because of it's history in america and the fact that some groups just recieved all of their rights not too long ago.

i don't see race issues ending any time soon because some people just love to hate
