  1. There is not many issues I would consider more important then being given basic human rights.


  2. Being treated equally under the law is important because we are all equal before God. Also, its just plain fair.

    However, that does not mean that we should try to balance the outcomes. For example affirmative action is not fair to anyone involved. Neither are racial quotas for crime and punishment. Everyone is an individual and race should not be a topic when discussing the discrepancies in outcomes.
