I noticed that if someone makesa sexist comment, EG: Hillary Clinton convention, some1 holds up a sign that says "Iron my shirt", that is not looked at by media. However, is someone says something racist at an Obama convention, the whole world goes BALISTIC. Not saying anything thats tryin to be racist or sexist or whatever, just wondering why people think this is.

  1. BEcause the races complain more than women do. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Thank that b*****d-child makin' fella Jesse Jackson for that.

  2. I'm not sure that it is.Why don't you answer your own qustion;why do YOU think racism is more specular?

  3. Because there are biological differences in the sexes and we can all point to the differences when we are as young as 2 years old. As ;ong as many men are bigger and stronger, they will see women (and smaller men) as inferior.

Racism is much more of an issue because it was a concerted effort to enslave and denigrate a group of people because they were considered on the same level as animals.

  4. Double standards for women are right now not seen as big of an issue as double standards for minorities. In part, minorities are more mobilized to fight for themselves, a lot of women see nothing wrong with a T-Shirt that reads Iron My Shirt.

  5. I think because of the more abusive history of this country towards race. Women have had it bad in the past but anyone who compares the racial injustices versus the sexist injustices. One will far outweigh the other in the realm of how severe it was/is.

  6. Although neither racism or sexism should be tolerated, it seems as if people forget in racism you are also targeting the opposite s*x. There is women of all races. I'll make and example, if someone says that Mexicans aren't capable of learning, you are not just targeting the males. I think people should complain if there are being discriminated against. It's not that they are over sensitive, we in America should really be mindful of different genders, culture and races to truly form a  more perfect union.I believe this is the best country in the world and there are still  flaws. If I criticize something about some type of injustice that is my constitutional right just like some choose to ignore any problems.

  7. I love Geraldine.
