  1. it has somethin to do with condensation and evaporation. its kinda like when you boil salt water all the salt evaporates due to condensation.


  2. rain water is fresh because when it evaporates from the ocean the salt is left behind. when it falls again it is non-salt water and does not become salt water again until it falls into the ocean and mixes with the NaCl(sodium chloride) that was left there when it evaporated

    Desalination is an expensive process (requires lots of fuel) and is not feasible in countries that cannot afford it.

  4. ive been wondering about that myself. they're saying that in 50 years there will be a water shortage but im like, how? will boiling salt water not work?
