Why is rainy weather always considered horrible???

why not sunny weather is horrible. (btw i dont think this but it is weird how society sets us into obvious opinions without really thinking about it)

I think for some people rainy weather is depressing because the sky is grey and they can't enjoy being outdoors. Personally, I love rainy weather. It refreshes everything and makes me want to cozy up in my own house. I enjoy watching and hearing the rain because it is soothing.

I would think that it is considered horrible because it becomes a nuisance and can put a damper on your day. You have to bring an umbrella and if you forgot it your clothes and hair will get wet. You are likely to step in puddles...it slows traffic down and causes accidents. My hair looks horrible on rainy days too. On a sunny day...you might need sunscreen or a hat...but  you don't have to worry as much as the other things i mentioned.

Rain is good though. It grows crops, plants, and is good for our soil and not enough rain causes droughts and wildfires. Also, rainy days can be very enjoyable and relaxing. However...too much rain can cause flooding (like where I am in St. Charles, MO)

I love rainy weather. It lifts my mood and gives me energy. I think for some people the opposite is true.

I think rain is bad because rain leans to flooding and the loss of crops.

The first answerer is correct. But a LACK of rain leads to droughts and increased fire risk.

I LOVE the rain. I am one of those crazies that will sit on my front porch during a hurricane.

Well, usually, gray and black seem sad, since black is worn to funerals and gray is just another shade of the color. When it's raining, the clouds are gray, and the sky is dark. But even though it's like that, I personally like it. As for sunny weather, you would immediately think of yellow or orange. Yellow and orange are bright colors, and people might where that to a baptism or baby shower. Also, while it's sunny, you can hang out outside and run around and go swimming. Rainy weather, though, you are kind of confined to the inside, but I don't really mind. I like both weathers; none of them are horrible to me!

Yes,sunny weather and 3 digit temps day after day is a bummer. I live in so. Texas and you don't even know hot until you have been to So. Texas in the middle of a 3 month drought ever thing is brown and dead. You would  just about do any thing for a storm.When it finally does come it is a frog choker and the mosquito's are as big as horse flies. I don't think it has a blasted  thing to do with society. Just TEXAS. Love it or leave it. I have been here 65 yrs. I will die here. My country,my TEXAS.
