bcuz those materials give you nutrients and energy...those are the ones that help celluler respiration happen

When the blood is originally filtered through the kidneys it is a very indescriminate process. Everything is filtered out including water and vital ions, these must be reabsorbed or you will quickly dehydrate and run into other problems as well.
