  1. HaHAHA yes reputation is very important ! If companies are being given a bad name and/or being told to the pubolic that there shop is bad or un-higenic or anything like that, they will get a bad reputation. No-one will want to shop there and the business will go down-hill from there. The media plays a big part in a shops reputation. For shops like wall-mart wanting or NEEDING a better reputation, they should get in contact with the media weather it be on add comersials or advertising specials in the newspaper or cataloge.. Hope this helps!

  2. Walmart has no need to change their image, they have a product that no one else can offer, unbeatable price, humans 95% of the time will pick savings over morality. In a time of economic down turn Walmart will thrive because they can offer a better price. Everyone says they dont agree with walmart and their practices but then as that same person to go to a local store and pay 15% more for the same exact product, wont happen. People refuse to educate themselves on business and realize that globalization and wage cuts are needed in this country if they want to keep the lifestyle they want. if not they can be poor, and have a bank account full of morality which does not pay the bills.
