Rome is considered a romantic city because of its beauty, its many churches, the bridges, the ruins and the wonderful sunsets... the icecreams ;) and more.

a romantic language is just a language that origins from Latin.

in italian we say "lingue romanze" or "Neolatine"

The Romance languages get their name from the languges spoken in the ROMAN empire. It is always with a capital 'R'. They are ROMAN languages. They are ROMANce languages.

well, if we are talking about the lenguage, italian is such a good one. just listen to the sound, and compare it with other lenguages like english and german, italian makes a cooler sound! maybe a romantic one....
