  1. because if we didn't have clean water or soap just imagine how the earth would look like and 3/4 Th's of us would be dead if we breathe all of that nasty air


  2. Because contamination kills

    especially our own

    remember the bubonic plague

    that killed more than half of Europe in the middle ages

    directly caused by people not worrying about sanitation.

  3. Travel to a third world country and you will know the answer right away. If the sight does`nt convince you, then take a huge whiff. If that doesn`t do it, take a drink of water and wait for the eruptions that will develop in your behind. Eat a little local food to supplement the show, and get your admission to a hospital. A visit to the hospital will also wake you to your question when you see the antiquated facility and equipment. You may catch a bonus illness while you are there.

  4. - Human excrement carries with it a lot of disease & pathogens such as worms and parasites

    - Waste attracts disease carrying hosts such as rats

    - It smells horrible if you don't have it
