Why is s*x painful all of a sudden?

i have been with my partner for three and half years, the last couple of times that we have tried to have s*x, its been extremley painful for me, sometimes to the point were he cant even get inside me...

does anyone have any ideas why this could be happending???

please help really worried

Do you use a lube sounds like your dry it happens to all of us

It could be something like pelvic inflammatory disease.

Best thing would be to go see a doctor.

if  you  have  been  active  with  him  for  three  years  and  know  it  hurts  when  you  have  s*x  you  could    have  acquired  a   sexually  transmitted  disease  STD  not  saying  anyone  cheated  but  could  be  possible  your  v****a  could  be  inflamed  .  i  would  seek   medical  attention

If you had thrush a couple of weeks ago, it is possible that you have a yeast infection or a bacterial infection in your vaginal area. This could by why it is so painful w/ insertion. Is it more of burning/tearing feeling or do you have any discharge? If so, you really need to see your gyn to get tested so he can tell what kind of infection it is and you could be treated. Also, another reason for the pain could be an STD type of infection (chlamydia, trich). You never know what your partner is doing 24/7 even though you trust them. Hope that's not the case. its normal if that was your first few times, your v****a was still tight so it hurt but don't worry it should feel better after a few more times, it also might be because you are tense so try not to think about it hurting.
