Why is she having these hallucinations?

Okay well my friend has been having some hallucinations, they last about 20 minutes, in sam's club she pictured everyone with clown noses, yeah kinda funny, but is there something wrong?

Yes, she really needs to see a doctor.  There are several possibilities--lack of sleep, food, or a serious mental illness.  Really, do whatever you can to encourage her to see a doctor.
