Why is skunk so more powerful than it was 5 years ago?

People select strains that have a high THC level and cross pollonate them with different strains also with high THC levels resulting in a new strain with an even higher THC level.

What do you define as powerful. If you mean by smell, it porbably isn't that much stronger. Either you had alot of skunks before, you got used to their smell and then they went away. Then, they come back again when your not used to their smell, and so the spray probably smells much worse. Either that, or skunks are making more potent spray to protect themselves.
