  1. A clear cloudless day-time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light.  When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

  2. because of the gasses in the atmosphere

  3. Reflection of ocean off water vapour in atmosphere!

  4. the sky is blue because of the scattering of the blue color in sun's visible light from the dust and dirt particles in the atmosphere.

  5. Rayliegh scattering. (After Lord Rayliegh) Different colors have different wavelengths. Under certain conditions, some color or another will scatter more than another, in this case, blue. This and a combination of melanin (pigment) is why eyes appear hazel. This is why the eyes seem to have layers and can change under different lights.
