I have studied marketing subject for nearly 4 years and completing Master degree in a fairly reputable university in the UK, it is so strange that my job application got refused so many times by these UK employers ,even these very simple jobs. Is it just me to be impatient or something else?

  2. Do you have any real world work experience in marketing? Did you at least do an internship?

By the time you have a master's degree in a business-related field, employers expect you to have also had actual, full time work experience in the field, or in something somewhat related. If that work experience was in an unrelated field, they want you to have done an internship in marketing as part of your graduate work. Without that sort of experience, it's much more difficult to find a job.

This experience is even more important for a master's degree candidate, because some employers are loathe to call you, even if you look good on paper, because they fear that you'll expect a master's level of salary and responsibility, when in fact, because you have no work experience, they can't give you that right off.

But there are things you can do to your CV and cover letter to highlight what you do have, and lessen the impact of what you are missing. Make an appointment to speak to the people in your university's career center. Have them review your CV and cover letter, and try to see if you can rework it to make it more appealing to employers. Also take advantage of their job listings and any other suggestions they have. Additionally, if things on your CV point out that you're not a UK national, make sure somewhere in your letter or CV you say, very briefly, that you're fully authorized to work in the UK. That way they know they don't have to sponsor your visa, and may be more willing to give you a look.
